Sazi Mbonyana has amassed over 17 years of food and beverage experience with five star casual and fine dining hospitality establishments both internationally and locally. 

His love for everything curated, bespoke and luxurious was gained from working for the flagship Ritz Carlton Resorts in Naples, Gulf Coast and Golf Resort – specialist in creating ‘Money can’t experiences’

Sazi was later approached to be part of the opening team for the Ritz Carlton Lake Tahoe – Highlands Resort in California. Upon his return to South Africa he worked for Tsogo Sun’s iconic Beverly Hills Hotel as the Assistant Food and Beverage Manager and later was asked to assist in the reopening of Golden Horse Casino Hotel as the Senior Food and Beverage Manager. 

Thereafter, Sazi joined the Hilton Hotel Durban where he worked as their Senior Food and Beverage Manager, improving their overall guest experience and increasing revenue in all their outlets. 

Sazi’s passion for bespoke luxury in the hospitality industry led him to start  Luxury Palate Group(formerly Palate). 

As founder and Managing Director of Luxury Palate Group, Sazi is hands on in ensuring the creation of unique and memorable luxury experiences for all his clients.
